The OTDA communication sent to notify families will inform families about SEBT and the payment method for their individual child’s SEBT. It will also inform if a child’s benefit is scheduled to be issued to an existing EBT card and specific instructions on how to request a replacement card if needed, or if the child will be mailed a new SEBT card. OTDA will also send emails and/or text messages to inform of benefit issuance and expiration.
