Data Collection

The Data Collection section is about the data collected from all entities who are required to report to the New York State Education Department. NYSED provides information, forms, instructions and other resources to schools and districts and other agencies who provide educational services in New York State, in order to assist them in gathering and reporting the data for programs they provide. These data are then collected by the NYS Education Department.
